The Nelson Raglan Coat

Classic in cut and proportion, our made in Italy outerwear represents the best of traditional craft in tandem with a modern, Scandinavian sensibility. Perfectly proportioned and beautifully made, this is the spring version of our Nelson raglan coat.

The Cut

Nelson is cut with a full silhouette and generous length, giving it the classic, flattering proportions that are increasingly difficult to find in men’s overcoats. The soft raglan shoulder ensures absolute comfort, as well as giving the coat an enjoyably relaxed appeal.

The Details

Nelson features large patch flap pockets in which to cosily stash one’s hands, and a tall collar with storm flap to turn up against the elements. Other essential details include a buttoned rear vent, a fly front and zig zag stitching on the underside of the collar. The coat is finished with real horn buttons.

The Cloth

Nelson is crafted from an Italian cotton based cloth that boasts water resistance while maintaining breathability. Its texture and hand are reminiscent of the fabric found in vintage trench coats. Substantial enough to drape beautifully, yet not too heavy, making it perfect for both sunny and rainy spring/summer days.
